Silt Fence
Controls run off where the ground has been disturbed, allowing the sediment to be blocked while water runs through the fabric. Light to medium woven fabrics are manufactured. Silt Fence to meet D.O.T. specifications available for the following states: Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, and Delaware. | |

Proper Installation
To install silt fence, attach fabric to stakes with staples.Unroll fabric, stretch and drive stakes into the ground. Make sure the posts are on the down side of the slope. The bottom of the fabric should be buried approximately six inches under the soil to prevent runoff under the fence. |
